Creative Graphic Designer for Education

- Job Description:
Think creatively and develop the creative design concepts, graphics, and layouts thoughtful a year
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
Work closely with a diverse team of marketers, designers, and business developers in a fast-paced environment
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
Perform retouching and manipulation of images
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
1-3 years of experience in graphic design
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
Strong analytical skills
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptually/visually
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to all another team
Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
Animation, Video Editing, Film Making and Photo-shooting experience is plus.
Willing to work at the educational environment and likely to collaborate with children
