Every year, as the eighth lunar month approaches, Asian countries come alive with the festive spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the traditional celebrations rich in cultural heritage. Living up to that spirit, under the concept of “The Eastern Moonlight,” the festive atmosphere was vividly recreated at Aurora School.

The beauty of Asian cultural fusion was showcased through traditional workshops. All families were excited to join and make their own creative lanterns, decorate Vietnamese papier mache masks, make traditional Vietnamese snowskin mooncakes, and explore Japanese culture by making Dango. Moreover, the stage was always lively with special performances prepared by all teachers and learners. In addition, the tale of Mr. Cuแปi and the Banyan tree was narrated under the perspectives of Light and Shadow, adding a new experience to such a familiar tale.

The celebration came to an end with a dazzling lion dance, a symbol of prosperity and good fortune. We sincerely appreciated all families for coming and making memories with us!

HAPPY MID-AUTUMN. We wish you all a day fullfilled with lots of love and happiness with your family.
