December is a special month when many different cultural celebrations take place around the world. We believe that it’s the perfect opportunity to teach and learn about inclusivity, respect for diversity, and the beauty of different traditions. This month we are exploring and learning how December can be a time for sharing and embracing various cultures. We have families from all over the world in our school and one thing we have in common is that we all come together, celebrate and have beautiful, connected moments with friends and families.
This year at Aurora we had our ‘All That Sparkles: Encountering Light Through Cultural Celebrations’ learning and cultural celebration. This celebration was a time to celebrate connection, wonder and joy. We had an incredible time and we hope that you felt it the way we did. From the amazing performances to candle light concert, the aurora lights, the cultural light festival and shadow puppets. Aurora had a wonderful sparkle day filled with a bundle of love, joy and happiness.
Thank you all Aurora families, children, teachers and staffs for a wonderful year that we had together. We wish you all a happy holiday.
