DIALOGUE WITH CULTURE 2024

Throughout the month of May Aurora children and learners explored diverse cultures by asking questions and allowing their curiosity to lead them to learn about cultures that may be new to them. These explorations allowed them to celebrate the wonderful diversity that surrounds them and also to discover commonalities that connect us all.

In the last few weeks, we welcomed families to visit classes to share an aspect of their culture with the children and learners. We focused on elements of culture that brought us together and supported us in the building of a peaceful and closely connected learning community. That included aspects such as dance, art, music, games, and food.

Thank you all for supporting us in forging closer bonds and expanding our mutual understanding within our school community. This is also a chance for us to strengthen the partnership between children, family and school.
Please take a look at our Culture Day last Friday with lots of fun and contribution from children and learners and their families.
